Cruisemount does not supply the required cruise control.  You must get that from your friendly Harley Davidson dealer.  Cruisemount supplies the components to install the cruise on your specific bike.  For Softails this includes: mounting bracket, decorative cover, wiring harness, replacement idle cable, very detailed instructions with pictures, and miscellaneous parts.  Road Kings and Electra Glides get only a wiring harness and instructions from Cruisemount.  All installation kits require the separate purchase of the actual cruise control unit from Harley Davidson.
 
Special note for Fat Boys, Fat Boy Lo, Softail Custom, CVO Springer, Softail Convertible, and any other bike with internal handlebar wiring, or chrome switch housings. - The internal handlebar wiring on your bike may include the turn signal wiring.  This requires you to drill a 5/16" hole in the lower half of the new left and right switch housings to accommodate the turn signal wiring, because the cruise control switch housing do not have this hole.  This requires your to disassemble the switches from the switch housings prior to drilling the holes.  This is tedious and delicate work.  Switches can be broken.  We recommend dealer installation, and it can add 2 hours to the installation.  Also, the cruise control kit from Harley includes BLACK switch housings.  CVO bikes usually have chrome switch housing.  You may need to purchase chrome switch housings that are "cruise Compatible".


Softail^® selection 
All Softail kits come with a replacement "cruise compatible" idle "roll-off" cable of the stock length for the selected model with stock handlebars and riser.  Call for longer lengths.  We stock "roll-off" replacements for 56342-01 (most Softails - 30.5 inch) in black, stainless, and diamondback, 56433-98 (Night Train - 26.5 inch) in black, and 56934-07A (2007-2010 Softail Custom - 32.5 inch) in black, stainless, and diamondback.  A stock length, black cable is supplied with each kit.

Year and fuel system	carbureted bikes all require "carburetor conversion  kit" sold below	Please read and select carefully, as kits are year and model specific... and Left or Right side mount..... and requires year specific cruise control kit from Harley®.   Option stainless steel braided or Diamondback® (Platinum) cables are available below. Softail kit comes with black idle cable of stock lenght unless you order something different.  All 2008 and newer come with black mounting bracket.  If any questions please call (620) 279-4253
2008- 2010 model warning All 2008 to 2010 Softails will NOT have any cruise power on light, or cruise engaged light, normally found in the speedometer.  This does NOT affect the cruise operation.  For cruise light options read cruise lights.  This affects 2008 - 2010 models only, and all years for Softail Deluxe LOOK -----> Harley does not list all cruise control numbers on their web site.  Believe us when we tell you the cruise control kit number you need to get from Harley!   Example... they don't list 77197-04 on their web site, but it is available from your Harley dealer!  The cruise control kit numbers we give your are correct!
2011		There are some issues with the 2011's  we cannot answer until we obtain wiring diagrams.  It usually is several months until diagrams are available.  They have new "soft" handlebar switches and have combined functions on the switches, therefore the wiring is different and the 2007 cruise switches are not the same.  The speedometer reset is now located on the handlebar switches, with no button on the console, so the wiring is much different.  We are not saying the cruise cannot be put on, just how is yet to be determined.  The throttle body still has the  setup for mechanical cruise.  Softail Convertible has "fly by wire" throttle, and cruise control as standard equipment.  No other Softail has "fly by wire" or factory cruise.

Road King^®   selection
