This is a 2004 - 2007 Road King speedometer.  If you use a flashlight and shine it flat across the your speedometer you will be able to see all of the information lights, including the cruise indicator light, if yours has one.  The black face speedometers will have the same indicator lights in the same position.  Yours may or may not have this cruise indicator light.  Some combination speedometer / tachometers are equipped with these lights....  see the genuine accessory book for details.  Look for those that fit Road Kings, as they also fit Softails.  Do NOT use the ones for FLHT as they are smaller and don't fit.
2008 and newer Softail model update:
Any and all 2008 and newer Softails stock speedometers do not use this light even if you can see it with a flashlight.  The light may be there, but cannot be activated.  This does not affect the operation of the cruise control.  It does make performing the test procedure of the cruise control more difficult, but it is still possible.  You accept ALL responsibility and liability when you purchase ANY Cruisemount, LLC product.  That said, here are some options for adding indicator lights to you 2008 - 2010 Softail....

Option 1.  Install a 2007, and only a 2007, Softail speedometer that is "cruise compatible".  The 2007 stock MPH speedometer part number is 67033-04B for all model except the Softail Deluxe.  67033-04B is a speedometer that will work fine, however, you lose the feature to tell you the remainder of fuel in the tank (trip A, trip B, Rx.xx).  You lose the R function.  Also, any "cruise compatible" speedometer or combo speedo/tach for 2007 Softail models should work, but have not been tested.  The Softail Deluxe speedometer for 2007 also does not have these indicator lights.  This exchange of speedometers has been tested and proven to work.  See you Harley dealer for the exchange and mileage reinstatement procedure.  Only a 2007 Softail "cruise compatible" speedometer will work.  No other year will work.  Our standard wiring harness from the Cruisemount, LLC installation kit is designed for this.

Option 2.  Install our standard 2008, 2009, 2010 kit and have no indicator lights.

2011 and 2012 Softails

For 2011 and  2012 we use the pictured "ad-on" replacement clamp housings.  There are Harley Davisdson parts.

2008 and newer Softail speedometers do not have cruise lights that can be lighted.

2004 - 2007 that we know have this cruise indicator light:
Heritage Softail Classic - all years
Night Train - all years
Softail Standard - all years
Fat Boy - all years

Softail Deluxe - all years definitely DO NOT have this indicator light:

Reported NOT to have this indicator light:
2006 Heritage Springer Classic (we have not verified this on more than one bike).

Cruise control will work even without these lights, you just will not have indicator lights.
