| These items are reported to be incompatible with our cruise control installation kit: |
| For 2004-2006 carbureted
bikes, we use the stock speedometer for the tach
signal. If you have replaced the stock speedometer with the
combination speedo/tach, we need to know so that we can build you a
special harness. |
| All Road King Police
bikes 2004 - 2011 use the stock speedometer
(pin number 3) for the tach signal. |
| Kuryakyn adjustable passenger footpegs. These pivoting footpegs will come in contact with the decorative chrome cover (Softails only). |
| LED brake
light issue is resolved as of 10/4/2006. Order the Brake light Simulator from the order
page. This kit lets the cruise
operate with LED brake lights. (Applies to
Softails only, not
needed for touring bikes) |
| Brake light flashers See below. |
| Mikuni carburetor cruise brackets from Rivera Engineering, when used with Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner. The backing plate for the air cleaner is extra deep and the cruise bracket hits the backing plate not letting the carburetor open and close properly. You will have to change to a different air cleaner setup, such as the Screamin Eagle. |

Here is what Kuryakyn
says on there web page....... "Important: P/N 4859 is not compatible with aftermarket or accessory modules that alter the functions of the stock taillight and turn signals. If you have already made modifications to your bikes taillight and/or turn signals, you will have to return your bike to stock form before installing our Controller. Bikes equipped with factory security system and low-draw L.E.D. lights also require P/N 4857 - Alarm Compatible Load Equalizer." If you have this installed, you MUST use our brake bulb simulator. Our brake bulb simulator must be installed in front of (ahead of) part 4859. This probably applies to any and all brake light flashers. |
