 We spend your money where it counts... in the areas that show.  You will see that we have not polished all areas of the chrome mounting bracket.   Only two areas show, the areas  I have outlined  in the boxes.  Those areas are polished.  These is no need to spend your money to polish the other areas.  Harley Davidson does the same thing.  Look at the inside of your sissy bar side plates.  Surprising isn't it.

You may also see an area that is lacking in chrome.  This is where the mounting bracket is hung to dip into the chrome solutions.

2008 and newer Softails have a different shape mounting bracket, and it is powder coated.
cover
 The cover, however, is polished everywhere except the inside.
krinkle
  Powder Coat option.  The powder coated mounting bracket has this same finish.  There is no warranty on this finish (but we have never had a complaint).
