Our Cruisemount® kit allows you to install the Road King® electronic Harley motorcycle cruise control (separate purchase from your Harley® dealer) on your 2008 and earlier fuel injected or carbureted Softail®.  Fits any 1996 through 2008 Softail® (except Rocker's) with the stock Delphi® fuel injection module or stock carburetor and stock handlebars and stock electronic speedometer.  If your Softail® came with a factory installed electronic speedometer, this will work regardless of the year!
We also have solutions for your 1996 - 2001 Road King® ,
  1998 - 2001 Electra Glide, and 1996 - 2007 Road King Police
This is NOT another throttle lock claiming to be cruise control.  You will have real Harley motorcycle cruise control with "set  coast  resume  accelerate" that maintains a constant speed for safety !  Same speed uphill and downhill.  Don't be fooled by imitations and false advertising!  Read our comparison taken right from their web pages.

    • Works with stock or combination speedo/tach.  2003 and older will have cruise "enable" and cruise "active" lights within the replacement handlebar switches.   2004 - 2007r will have cruise "enable" and "active" lights within stock, and some combo speedo/tachs (75549-04, 74556-04).  For 2007 and newer model years check with your dealer since the accessory book does not list "cruise compatible" speedometers.  Softail Deluxe® will never have cruise indicator lights with stock speedometer (different stock speedometer, which does not have these lights already built into stock speedometer).  NEW: It is reported to us that the Heritage Springer Classic does NOT have these lights.  Also, no 2008 stock speedometers will have cruise indicator lights.  See our speedometer page for details.

    No cutting, splicing, or soldering of wires.   Plugs into the existing wire harness and does not destroy the integrity of the original wiring.   You have the same handlebar switches as the Road King®, because you also buy the Road King® Harley motorcycle cruise control, (see Application chart for Harley® part #) ($340) from Harley Davidson®.  Install the genuine Harley Davidson® electronic Harley motorcycle cruise control on your Softail®.  1997 through 2001 Softail®s MAY require one splice for tach signal.  2007 and 2008 will require one mechanical splice (posi-tap, included) for speed sensor.  Some handlebars and risers MAY require lengthening the handlebar switch wiring (not a part of our kit, but is part of the Harley® cruise control which is a separate purchase).  
       
    Get a  REAL  cruise control.  This is NOT an electronic throttle lock!    Harley motorcycle cruise control works just like the cruise control in your car or truck!

    Why is this  the  superior product, and the only one you should buy?     

    1.  It is THE ONLY ONE that uses the genuine Harley Davidson    ® Harley motorcycle cruise control, that you purchase from Harley® and warranted from Harley !  This is the genuine product, not an imitation or something adapted.   If you have a problem, it can be serviced by any local Harley® dealer.  Ask yourself, if you have problems with cruise from another source, where do you get service and parts.... not Harley® !
    2.  You get replacement Harley Davidson    ® handlebar switches with the "built-in" Harley motorcycle cruise control "set, coast, resume, accelerate" functions, not some ugly "add-on" switches to clutter up your handlebars.  They come in the cruise control kit from Harley®.  You get the identical switches found on the Road King® that have cruise control built in.
    3.  There is only one component that controls all the Harley motorcycle cruise control functions, not a separate "servo" requiring vacuum, hoses, etc.   Harley's    ® is all contained in one unit and requires no vacuum.
    4.  We put nothing on the frame in front of the engine... no ugly parts, and nothing above the primary case.  Ours mounts in the area where a left side toolbox would mount, and takes up less room than a toolbox.  Beautiful decorative cover is included (Softails).  Protects the cruise module from weather and road grime.
