(with cruise indicator lights) (our 2011 Softail test bike is working)  Also, solutions for obsolete cruise control kits for Electra Glides.  What happened for 2011 Softails?  Harley changed the electronics in the handlebar switch sets.  The switch sets now have circuit boards that control the signals sent to the ECM and new BCM (body control module).  And the 2011 Softail Convertible is completely different, with "fly by wire" throttle, hence no throttle or idle cable like the other 2011 Softails.  Harley does not make any cruise control kit with compatible handlebar switches that will work on the 2011 Softails with throttle and idle cables.  Cruisemount has solutions!

Our old Cruisemount® kit allows you to install the Road King® electronic Harley motorcycle cruise control (separate purchase from your Harley® dealer) on your 1996 to 2010 fuel injected or carbureted Softail®.  Fits any 1996 through 2010 Softail® (except Rocker's) with the stock Delphi® fuel injection module or stock carburetor and stock handlebars and stock electronic speedometer.  (other options available).  Our NEW Cruisemount 2011 solution is for 2011 and 2012 Softails and encludes the actual cruise control.
We also have solutions for your 1996 - 2007 Road King® , 1998 - 2007 Electra Glide, and 1996 - 2012 Road King Police and, most Electra Glide Police.

We have almost 140,000 miles total on our test bikes (4) with absolutely no problems.  We have never , ever had a failure on our test bikes.
All 1996 - 2010 installations require the separate purchase of the actual cruise control kit from Harley Davidson.  Obsolete.  2011 Softails kits will also include the actual obsolete cruise control kit made up from Harley parts.
Cruisemount supplies only the installation kit, except for 2011 solutions.  For 2011 Softails we supply everything for the cruise control (except di-electric grease, cable ties).  Solutions for 2010 and older Softails coming soon.

For 2010 and older Softails we supply mounting bracket, chrome cover, wiring harness, replacement idle (rolloff) cable (from Barnett®) and very detailed, easy-to-follow instructions.  Requires separate purchase from Harley Davidson® of electronic Harley motorcycle cruise control.  Also requires passenger foot boards or Hex spacer kit # 49352-00 on most Softails, including 2011's.   Update 6/23/2011 - if you can find a kit, we can still provide you with this solution.     What cruise kit do I buy from Harley ?         Otherwise, we will be providing the 2011 solution for older Softails.
For 2011 Softails we provide everything you need (except di-electric grease, cable ties, fuel line hose clamp).

Why is this  the  superior product, and the only one you should buy? 

1.  It is THE ONLY ONE that uses the genuine Harley Davidson® Harley motorcycle cruise control, warranted from Harley !  This is the genuine product, not an imitation or something adapted.   If you have a problem, it can be serviced by any local Harley® dealer.  Ask yourself, if you have problems with cruise from another source, where do you get service and parts.... not Harley® !
2.  You get replacement Harley Davidson® handlebar switches with the "built-in" Harley motorcycle cruise control "set, coast, resume, accelerate" functions, not some ugly "add-on" switches to clutter up your handlebars.  They come in the cruise control kit from Harley®.  You get the identical switches found on the Road King®  or Electra Glide® that have cruise control built in. 3.  There is only one component that controls all the Harley motorcycle cruise control functions, not a separate "servo" requiring vacuum, hoses, etc.   Harley's® is all contained in one unit and requires no vacuum.
4.  We put nothing on the frame in front of the engine... no ugly parts, and nothing above the primary case.  Ours mounts in the area where a left side toolbox would mount, and takes up less room than a toolbox.  Beautiful decorative cover is included (Softails).  Protects the cruise module from weather and road grime.
